Our Gatherings
Devoted Church currently gathers in a home each Sunday morning.
Our desire is to create a space where people truly know one another, grow in Scripture together, and follow Jesus in everyday life.
We pray that homes across Person County will become places where people worship the Lord, study Scripture, and live on mission together.
Families & Children
Life is messy — and church should be a place where families can come as they are.
Children are welcome in our gatherings and often participate in prayer, discussion, and worship alongside adults. Because we meet in homes, the environment is relaxed and families are free to engage at their own pace.
As Jesus said:
“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
— Matthew 19:14
Relationship
Gathering in homes helps create an environment where genuine relationships can grow.
Discipleship
We believe discipleship happens best through personal relationships where people study Scripture together, discuss hard questions, and encourage one another to follow Jesus.
Accountability
Learning often comes from making mistakes. The best way to get back up is by having people who love you to point out missteps and encourage you back onto the right path.
Leadership Development
As the Lord grows our community, we are committed to raising up leaders who will shepherd future gatherings and help others grow as followers of Jesus.

Weekly Scripture Reading
Each week our Sunday gathering studies a shared portion of Scripture together.
The reading plan below shows the passages our church is currently reading and discussing.
Throughout the week, we encourage everyone to read these passages personally, pray through them, and come ready to share what God is teaching them as we seek the Spirit’s guidance together.
